I was wrong
Spring has not arrived.
Today was grey

and cold.

distracted

I have been distracted.  In fact the computer has barely been on but the telly has been on alot.   We have been watching all sorts of Olympic sports I never thought I would.  Who knew how exciting syncronised swimming and dressage could be?

We have also been out about in London soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying our home town in all its glory.  Getting ready now to cross the channel (well truth be told go under it) for a very different few weeks. No TV at all - bliss.

City Life

Living in the city can be hardwork sometimes but there are always great things which more than make up for it.  This week I battled through rush hour on the tube to arrive at the wonderful Royal Opera House for Metamorphosis Titian 2012 . It was an amazing performance  and I left feeling renewed.

While we had been inside the city had changed utterly - the heat and noise of rush hour was gone and the dark, rain washed streets were quiet.   Wandering along The Strand pondering the journey we stopped outside Somerset House and listened to the end of the Paloma Faith concert.   I love London.
